What to do with a blank journal?
So, I was at the local Barnes and Noble, and saw a journal for sale. It was just GORGEOUS (real leather, with leaves carved into it). Now I am so not into diaries or anything like that, and have never used a blank journal before, but it just... called to me! It felt wrong not to get it.
Now here I am, wanting something awesome to do with this beautiful journal. Ideas anyone?
Well... I would recommend using it as a journal, it is really stress relieving... I did it for several years... also lets you look back and see what you were doing when and how you felt about it.
Also, what are your hobbies? For interest I like bird watching so I could use it to record what birds I identify/see, when and where I saw them. Then I could add pictures of them or ways that were useful to identify them.
If your into cooking... use it to collect your favorite recipes, then you will always have them to go to... you can write the recipe out, right out any changes you made add pictures of your finished project especially when the finished food is quite the masterpiece.
Just a couple ideas. Wait I've got one more... garden journal... what you have planted when, what type of seeds, if you like that kind of seed, ideas for what you want to do next time and so on.
One more... a press for flowers/leaves... they can be really beautiful. Look it up online to see how you do it... you could then identify them, write out the common name, latin name, make notes on where you found it and so on.
Ideas are endless... after all it is an empty book with endless possibilities!
Most importantly have fun with it no matter what you do!
