How do you make crafting stamps at home?
I am an artist who has recently gotten into card making and I am having a really hard time finding specific stamps. I would like to make quality stamps at home (no carved potatoes). I also don't want to spend $500 on some machine or kit. Does anyone know if this is possible?? If it is, how would I do it?? Thank you for your help!!
You can have quite detailed rubber stamps made online, or at rubberstamp companies in your area (if you live in an urban area, look in your yellow pages under Rubberstamp makers). And it's so fun that you may have found a new addiction 
. As an artist (or just a human being) it can be a whole new way to be creative and/or have some quite useful stamps for all kinds of purposes.
There are various online companies that make stamps but I like the one called Ready Stamps (not Ready Stamp which is a different company) because all the money goes to the Cerebral Palsy Association and many of the workers are themselves disabled.
They do a great job, it doesn't take very long, and it's quite inexpensive for what you can get back imo.
