What materials are used to make a saddle (any discipline) and/or a bridle?
I am looking for a list of all the materials used to make a saddle or bridle that is similar to that of an ingredient list on a food product. I imagine such a list would contain leather, metal conchos on a Western Saddle (are the conchos really silver?), chicago screws, D-rings, suede (knee rolls on an English saddle), rawhide (Western), and some type of fleece (Western). There are probably many more materials used, but I am having trouble finding information on this. Links/sources are appreciated, but all answers are welcome! I am especially hoping for some answers from saddlemakers! Thank you so much!
