my eyelet plier has got stuck?
i'm trying to remove a hole punch from my eyelet pliers to change it to a smaller size, but the current one has somehow got stuck. what can i use to remove it without breaking the pliers?
If your "eyelet pliers" have a single interchangeable hole puncher you need a pair of small snipe nosed self grip pliers to remove it. Just grip and wiggle,so to speak. You must use good quality (snap-on or vise-grip) pliers. Others are all a waste of money , including the UK copy, Mole Grip.
If it's a wind around multi hole eyelet plier, then use some WD40 to free up, and gently turn against the spring until the next one locks in. Some have a small set screw - make sure you undo it first. good luck.
