How old is my saddle?
I have a saddle that has printed on the cinch tab Hullings on top and St Louis Stock yards on bottom. I have had the saddle apart to make repares it has a rawhide wrapped frame . The saddle has a short horn with large bucking roles it is a low back saddle and is tooled from the fenders all the way up to the rolles. I would appreciate any info you might be able to give me on how old it could be or of its uses. thanks
I am unfamiliar with your saddle personally, so by reading the description I could not tell you its age, ALTHOUGH if I were you I would check around for a serial number. Most saddles have them on their flaps etc. Once you find a number, contact the saddle makers [the brand of saddle you own's corporate store or website] and give them the serial number and they should be able to tell you what model it is and what year it was made.
