Can a school system take hours away that a employee has worked just because of how their system is set up?
The school has their system set up where they only pay half or whole days but if a person get sick at anytimew of the day how can they just take the hours that has already been put in.
Maybe. Many teaching positions are salaried, not hourly. As such they can pay half and whole days.
If the position is hourly then they would be required to pay the actual hours worked.
