is eating heaps of these cereals a day good?
i eat a LOT of special K (forest berries/original etc), all bran and sometimes milo cereal everyday. like i could finish a box in 2 days.
i also snake a lot of k-time bars, and uncle tobys muesli bars (crunchy and chewy)
is this unhealthy?
i usually indulge a lot on lollies and chocolate around dinner time which is annoying but i find if i pig out on cereals and bars or like vita wheat biscuit things (tomato and linseed)
then i dont eat as much chocolate and lollies.
in a way is that better? even though its a lot of like carbs and that..it got more vitamins and whatnot then sugar.
i know i should have a more balanced diet but right now all i have time for in lollies and that and i wanna have more will power then that so right now if i'm gonna pig out i have been steering towards cereals. etc.
eating heaps of those cereals is not 'good' but it is better than eating lollipops and chocolate candies (which have no real nutritional value). that being said...you can do much better even if you're running low on time than eating cereal all the time. Try any of these quick and (fairly) healthy snacks/meals instead.
- protein bar (make sure to get one high in protein and low in sugar). several kinds taste good.
- nuts
- fresh fruit
- beef jerky
- whey protein shake (1-2 scoops whey, peanut butter, ripe banana, a little skim milk, ice, and blender). Healthy snack or meal in <5 min. and tastes yummy.
- Odwalla bars (chocolate chip peanut ones taste great - almost like a chocolate chip cookie)
- trail mix (dependent on what kind you get)
