How can I clean water stains from tan faux snakeskin shoes?
I have a great pair of light tan/nude colored leather pumps that are embossed with a snakeskin pattern. I made the mistake of wearing them on a rainy day and they got wet, so now there are unattractive water stains around the toes. Is there any hope for removing or lessening the appearance of the water stains? The snakeskin pattern hides them a little but they still look pretty bad.
You could use rubbing alcohol. Put a little on a cloth and rub the shoe, it should remove the stain.
