tryout tips for travel team for goal keeper 12yr old girl soccer(football)?
My 12 yr old Daughter has played soccer for the past 5 years, 3 of those years were on a travel team. However she has never had to tryout because she has had the same coach the whole time. She is a fantastic goalkeeper and defensive player. Please give any advice or tips on what the coaches are looking for and what to do to impress them.
She is very confident and aggressive. Thanks for any suggestions.
if your daughter played for 5 years she should have no problem getting on the team just tell her to play her best. If they have more than one day for the tryouts make it to all of them. The coaches want someone who they know will show up and want to play. My son just tried out for a traveling team. he also played for about 5 years but the team he played for before traveled but he did not need to try out so he just finished three days of tryouts for the team and we are now waiting to find out if he made it. Good luck to your daughter they are looking for kids that are enthusiastic about playing
