Is there a difference between the FURminator and the deshedding tool?
what is the difference between them? the deshedding tools are like $15 and the FURminators are $100. are there any big differences or functions in both?
(i was meant to add this on my other thread but i had accidently already chosen a best answer)

Not sure what deshedding tool you are referring to. if you are talking about a dematting tool, that is for a completely different purpose. If you are talking about the Furminator, it is an excellent tool that removes dead undercoat from the dog without harming the outer coat. This tool is patented and no one else can use their design-they can only make poor copies.
ETA: I would like to point out that people who read the directions and use the tool correctly do not cut the top coat off their dogs.
Just so you know, the Furminator is not $100. You can find them all over the Internet starting at around $35.
