Is Bush a uniter or a divider?
I think he's a little of both. He has further divided this country with his right-wing policies that don't work. But he also united groups like muslim and jewish Americans in their shared hatred of Bush. Jews have always been a strong supporters of the Democratic party. Muslims on the other hand used to vote for Republicans. Most of them voted for Bush Jr in 2000. After years of racist crap from Republicans (fast becoming the Angry White Southerner Party), they have switched to being Democrats.
That's not the only two groups. He has united MILLIONS of Americans into the Democratic Party.
Today, about 50% of Americans identify themselves as Democrats compared to 35% for Republicans.
